Wanton's Love is a Romeo and Juliet meets Shaka Zulu play set
in
pre-colonial West Africa. In this play, the writer portrays
the
colourful way with words in metaphors, idioms and proverbs,
common
with the Igbo tribe of present-day Nigeria. He adapts Peter
Brook's
style of casting actors & actresses from various ethnic and
racial
background to collective share a universal story about love. |
